Railways have decided to print “All India Passenger Helpline No 138” on the reserved as well as unreserved train tickets to create awareness about the service, said a senior Railway Ministry official.

Besides, train tickets will also have arrival and departure enquiry number 139 and for security (182) printed on it.

The 138 helpline number is for queries/complaints related to medical emergency, cleanliness, food and catering, coach maintenance and linen. (business-standard.com)

    Right now i m traveling in train no 12956 on 6th jul b4 coach and some one is sitting on my seat and he was just started fight when i told him to remove Ur hand from my leg and i told to the TT he came and check the tickets of that guy and he has a ticket of general class and his friend has the another ticket which is front of me .and TT send that guy to another TT AND they both arranged the ticket for that guy .. what to do in this situation !! Is that Indian railway safe??No help nothing.

    On which number I should call when some one else is siiting on my reserved berth and he is not ready to leave?what to do when he shows pass?

      Call on 138 or 182 Toll Free RPF Security Toll Free Helpline……You will get help soon as possible from Railway Police.
