RPF Security Helpline Number 182 Toll Free introduced
For catering to security related needs of the rail travellers a RPF Security Helpline No: 182 (Toll-Free) has been introduced and operationalised in the Indian Railway system. The main objective of security helpline number is to render immediate security related assistance to the Rail users. It is functioning at all Divisional Security Control Rooms, all over Indian Railways round the clock. Whenever any call from passenger in distress is received by the control room, the complaint, train No. etc. will be noted down and immediately relayed to train escort personnels of the train as well as nearest RPF Post for immediate follow-up action.
This initiative is one more step taken by the railway to ensure safe and secure journey of all rail users.

I want immediately help from railways department coz my Frnds they r travelling by Demu malda to nJp n there no light in there boggy from since they board the train it’s around 2.45pm from malda so plz resolve the problem n according to them in all the boggy light is there except in there which is just immediately back OK the engine. ….
