Vande Bharat Express
- More Coaches on High-Demand Routes: In response to high passenger occupancy, Indian Railways announced the augmentation of Vande Bharat Express trains on seven key routes. Three 16-coach trains will be converted to 20-coach trains, and four 8-coach trains will be upgraded to 16-coach trains. This move aims to increase capacity and provide a better travel experience. The routes include Mangaluru Central–Thiruvananthapuram Central, Secunderabad–Tirupati, and Chennai Egmore–Tirunelveli, among others.

- Cabinet Approves Four Major Rail Projects: The Union Cabinet has given its nod to four major railway infrastructure projects valued at approximately ₹12,328 crore.
