An official from RPF said, “The software booked tickets in less than 10 seconds, while a most efficient clerk on a railway window took atleast 40 seconds to fill in the details and book the ticket which when issued by the website had a waiting list number 400.”

Further investigation in the case revealed that Jha had purchased the software from a man named Amit Kumar Shahu for a monthly rental of Rs 2,500. A senior official from CR said, “There are about 8 to 10 different software available in the market that once installed, book tickets instantly. (freepressjournal.in)
