Railway booking clerk suspended for assaulted passenger

The incident occurred around 10:30pm on Sunday when the victim, P Dingankar, a local resident, was in the queue at the ticket booking counter at Diva to purchase a season ticket. As the queue was moving at a slow pace, the commuter went up to the window and requested the clerk to hasten up. The clerk apparently got annoyed and came out of his cabin and started arguing with the commuter and reportedly assaulted him.
