Major Policy & Ticketing Changes:
- Emergency Quota (EQ) Guidelines Revised: As of Tuesday, July 22, 2025 (or potentially Wednesday, July 23, 2025, as some sources mention Tuesday’s circular), Indian Railways has tightened its emergency quota rules. Requests for EQ must now be submitted at least a day before travel.
