All about IRCTC Service Charges for I-Ticket and E-Ticket
1) What is Ticket Cancellation Timing?
Ticket Booking/cancellation Hours: 00.20 HRS to 23.45 HRS
2) How much is irctc service charges or IRCTC Service Tax for E-Ticket or I-Ticket.
i) Train ticket booking service charges
ii) Train ticket booking service provider Charges
IRCTC Service Charges for I-Ticket (Service charge levied is not Refundable):-
- Sleeper Class/Second Class (SL/2S) – Rs.80/- per ticket plus service Tax.

Higher Class (1AC,2AC,3AC,CC,3E,FC,EC) : Rs.120/- per ticket plus service Tax.
IRCTC Service Charges for E-Ticket (Service charge levied is not Refundable):-
- Sleeper Class/Second Class (SL/2S) :- Rs.20/- per ticket plus service Tax.
Higher Class (1AC,2AC,3AC,CC,3E,FC,EC) :- Rs.40/- per ticket plus service Tax.
Current Service Tax 14.5% means On
Sleeper Class/Second Class (SL/2S) E-Ticket Service Charged: Rs 2.9 + Rs 20 = Rs 22.90
Higher Class (1AC,2AC,3AC,CC,3E,FC,EC) E-Ticket Service Charged Rs 45.80 + Rs 40 = Rs 45.80
The Above Amount Not Refunded once Ticket was Booked. However if there is Transaction Failed or ETC Electronic Failure and Ticket Not Booked then you will Get 100% Deducted/Debited Amount.
Note: Currently No Service Charge on E-Ticket due to promote digital India Offer.
