Kindly note that the amount will be refunded in the same account from which you had made the payment. If your account has been closed then IRCTC will get the confirmation from the respective bank and then only they will process the case accordingly.

Many Users ask They Booked ticket using Banking/Debit/Credit Cards but still in refund status found Paytmag Why?

If you have booked your ticket electronically and payed through paytm/Powered by Paytm (Above Payment Option)  and it is cancelled due to any reason, the refund money first gets credited in paytm’s virtual bank “PAYTMAG” (which is going to be commercially launched in the near future may be only for e-transactions). What happens is that, the account from where the payment has been made is identified correctly and then credited.

Usually amount get credited to your account in 4 to 7 days. If it did not happen you have to contact IRCTC prefer via registered Email ID with transaction reference numbers.

    Refund not credited

    I have booked a ticket and paid using my debit card, the payment gateway was paytm. Then I am cancel the ticket on 14th January 2018. I check my Refund status, it shows REFUNDED TO BANK,. but I have not got the money till now. Please have a look below for further info

      Check the transaction status, After 7 Working Days. One Status found Refunded means process done from IRCTC and depend bank you will Get Refund within 2-4 Working Days.

      As Status Refunded means Process done from IRCTC Site, Now Depend On Bank also take some working Days.

    Hello sir I booked ticket on 29 Dec 2017. Bt after some reason I cancelled the ticket on 31 st DEC 2017.. BT I not get my balance .. And I get report refunded from Irctc ..       IRCTC Ticket Refund Take 7 Working Days, After that Check the transaction status and If found refunded means process done from IRCTC and Depend on Bank You Will Get Refund.

      Refunds Take 7 Working Days, Check the Transaction status on Next Week. Hope you will Gt Refund Till 11th January 2018.

    Same problem sir…. I was booked my one ticket from SSM to NDLS in irctc but the transactions falied and staus is refunded with PAYTMAG
    but its not credit in my account

    Payment status : payment setteled

      No need to do anything as while Payment you choose Gateway was Powered by Paytm that’s why showing Paytmag.

      Wait 7 Working Days and then Check status Once Status with Refunded Massage means Refund Processed done from IRCTC Site then depend on bank approx 4-7 working days.

    I have booked a ticket using a debit card ( SBI ) & Paytm gateway, and after cancellation, the amount is refunded to PAYTMAG. I saw in paytm wallet and also in a bank account but not yet received any refund amount.

    Dear Sir,
    I booked a ticket in irctc the transaction then i cancel these ticket and the status shows it is refunded to Paytmag, but it is not credited back to my account.

    Dear SIr I booked two times ticket in irctc the transaction failed and the status shows it is refunded to Paytmag, but it is not credited back to my account.

      As you mention as Per IRCTC Transaction Status Refunded, It means refund processed and done from IRCTC Site.

      Many Time Banks or etc debited account take time to reflect transactions, Wait some more working days hope both amount refunded to your account till next Friday.

        I have cancelled tickets on 12th Dec’17 but still waiting for the refund. Bank is showing as PAYTMAG.

        I am 71 years old man. This is really a harassment.
        when I call the call center they have asked to mail to eticket mail id. But still no revert.

    i booked two waiting ticket by dabit card (paytm) on 5th December 2017 for travel ahamdabad to dausa on 11th december 2017.but my waiting was not conformed so my ticket was canclled by irctc automatically. but i am not get my refund on 10 days.

      Check the refund status and make sure refund processed done from IRCTC Site.

      If everything Ok hope you will get refund Refunds till Next week Friday.

    I have also cancelled My tickets and got a message that amount will be refunded in your paid account, but it is still not refunded , already 7 days have gone.
    The cancellation date was last 12 december 2017. Same issue as refunded to PAYTMAG.
    I cancelled 7 trains ticket and I got refunded amount of only 1 train. Please give me reason for non refunding

          Wait Minimum 7 Working Days then check the status, Once Found Status Refunded means refunded from IRCTC Site and After depend on bank within 2-5 Working Days to reflect under transaction.

    I have cancelled my ticket on 21st november and it is showing money is refunded to paytmag on 23rd november.But still I haven’t got the refund money in my account.I have emailed customer care but they simply asked to send full bank statement ,I have sent them full hain they are giving same message.
    I want to know that money will come or not?

    I have the same problem as i have cancelled My tickets and got a message that amount will be refunded in your paid account, but it is still not refunded , already 7 days have gone.
    The cancellation date was last 25 Nov 2017. Can you suggest me for the same.
    Same issue as refunded to PAYTMAG.

      You Will Get Refund with the same Account.

      Showing Paytmag because of while payment you used gateway for Bank/Debit/Credit was Powered by Paytm.
