Differently-abled persons can book online portal irctc.co.in
Currently, the Railways provides a quota of two sleeper class tickets per train for the differently-abled, which could be booked only physically from any booking window. The online option has gone live from Thursday. Now, passengers only need to give details of the ‘Handicap Card’ number while booking the e-ticket, which will be verified by the TTE after boarding the train. The type of concession – ‘Escort’ or ‘Handicap’ can also be mentioned. Earlier, disabled persons could not avail concession while booking e-tickets. (newindianexpress.com)

Apply Online for Divyangjan photo identity card
Divyangjan passengers may apply here for issuance of new e-ticketing photo identity card for getting concessional journey tickets issued online through IRCTC ticketing portal. Click Here to Apply Online Disablity Card
For Offline Application
Divyangjan passengers may approach dedicated counters in Concessional Cell at Divisional Railway Manager’s office with required documents to obtain the photo identity card issued from there.

Dear sir,
Railway department insulting PWD people. Railway card given by railway deportment . That was no use. we can,t book ticket by online irctc.
if you take that card to direct to railway counter person he will do Research on that card. for booking one ticket.
i don,t know why counter people. say so many reasons to book a ticket.find Mistake as teacher. finally he won’t book.
i faced so many time.
That why i won’t use that card. PWD persons don’t wast your time with that card. Book your ticket on your own money .Preplan before you going .

Hi this is ramaprabha .. i got handicap railway card with valid up to as “Whole Life”.. so when i tried to book a ticket so what is the expiry date i need to provide. since railway authority they didn’t mention about the date there.. they just mentioned card valid up to : Whole life”..
please help on this

As per guideline card is valid for five years from the date of issue.
that is SCBZA0010642
Please add 100 years to your date of birth. Ex. Your date of birth is 01-01-1955 then the expiry date is 31-12-2054.
