Violating cleanliness rules in all the six Divisions of SCR

During the nine months period from April, 2014 to January 2015, of the current financial year, 46598 persons were detected and penalized for violating cleanliness rules in all the six Divisions of SCR. An amount of Rs. 93.19 lakh was realized from these offenders towards penalty.              

       During the month of January 2015 itself, 4248 persons were apprehended for violating the provisions of Indian Railways (Penalties for Activities Affecting Cleanliness at Railway Premises) Rules-2012. This includes 1156 persons in Secunderabad Division, 2135 persons in Vijayawada Division, 632 persons in Guntakal Division, 40 persons in Hyderabad Division, 63 persons in Nanded Division and 222 persons in Guntur Division who were detected and penalized for violating the rules pertaining to maintenance of cleanliness at Railway premises. An amount of Rs. 8.50 Lakh was realized from these offenders towards penalty.
