Railways to pay compensation – Supreme Court of India
he Supreme Court has asked the Railways to pay compensation to the family of a man, who died due to heart attack while trying to board a moving train.
A bench led by Chief Justice of India H L Dattu directed the Railways to shell out Rs 4 lakh along with an interest of 6 per cent to the wife and children of Durai Somnathan, who had died of cardiac arrest while running along the moving train.
