R.O & UV Based Chilled Purified Booth at Sealdah Station

Shri Gupta, GM, Eastern Railway inaugurated R.O. & Ultra Violet Based Chilled Purified Water Booth at Sealdah (North) station, today (19.10.2015).

they informed that the water supplying capacity of this R.O. & UV Based Purified Water Plant is 2000 Litres Per Hour. There are 23 water taps supplying the purified water. Shri Gupta further informed that this water plant was completed before its target date of completion i.e. 31.3.2016. The standard of supplied water is at per with the European Economic Community Parameters. Moreover, similar water booths will be installed at Sealdah (South), Kolkata terminal, Naihati, Dakshineshwar, Ranaghat and Berhampore Court stations alongwith coolers and all to be completed latest by 31.3.2016. The total sanctioned cost of the entire project is Rs. 1.02 Crore.
