If are you traveling with Forwarded Message and also you have no take any hard printouts of your e-tickets than must read the following details:
According to IRCTC’s rule, the forwarded SMS is not a valid e-format of ticket. You can request the duplicate ticket anytime by SMSing ‘PNR ‘ to 139.
Passenger must take note that many time agents sent a forwarded massage to his/her customer of ticket booking.
If you are travailing with forwarded message. Please be aware this is is not valid as per railway rules.
Only Massages send by IRCTC are valid.

This is wrong step by IRCTC, many times we don’t get SMS from IRCTC website even when requested to get SMS multiple times. We only have email or printout. If someone is at Kolkata and his relative books ticket in Mumbai, how that person vin Kolkata can get the ticket if he is from old generation who do not have smartphone with Internet
