Ex-Gratia Payment to Injured Passengers on 2nd Day of train Accident
As per Press Released Due to the train accident at Pattabiram on 5th May 2016, 6 passengers were injured. They were given first aid, and rushed to the nearest Hospital by 108 Ambulance.
Railways has given Ex-Gratia Payment of Rs.25,000/- each to the injured passengers Shri Abehith Neko (EMU Passenger) and Shri Satish (EMU Passenger) who are undergoing treatment in Railway Hospital, Perambur.
Railways has given Ex-Gratia Payment of Rs.5,000/- each to the injured passengers Shri Anandan (EMU Passenger) Shri Thilagamani (Trivandrum Mail Passenger) Shri Mani (Trivandrum Mail Passenger) and Shri Ponmozhian, (EMU Passenger).
Shri Thilagamani is being treated at Rajiv Gandhi Govt Hospital, (GH) whereas Shri Anandan is being treated at Railway Hospital, Perambur. Shri Mani and Shri Ponmozhian, after treatment at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, have been discharged.
