Derailment of Train 16594 Bangalore Nanded Express
Train No.16594 Bangalore City – Nanded Express while passing Level Crossing Gate No.77 @ Km.132/200-300 between Rangepalli and Penukonda Stations on Dharmavaram Section of Bangalore Division of South Western Railway at around 2.23 a.m. was hit with a lorry breaking the closed L C Gate.
Four coaches derailed (B-1, H1, S-1 and S-2). Casualities reported – 5, (Three Passengers, one Railway Staff and the Lorry Driver) shifted to Government Hospital at Penukonda.
