Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on 9.8.2015.
MAIN LINE:
Mulund-Matunga up Slow Line from 11.15 AM TO 3.15 PM
All Up slow line services leaving Thane from 10.41 am to 3.12 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and further re-diverted to Up slow line proper at Matunga station.
Up slow line services will not be available at Nahur, Kanjurmarg and Vidhyavihar stations. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Bhandup/ Vikhroli/ Kurla respectively in Dn direction.
Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.08 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule. Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.28 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla station in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow line services leaving/arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
HARBOUR LINE :
KURLA-MANKHURD UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.
DN Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.23 am to 3.01 pm and UP Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.
However special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Kurla and Mankhurd – Panvel sections during the block period.
Harbour Line passengers are also permitted to travel via Trans-Harbour / Main Line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Due to this block, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on footboard, rooftop of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
