एसईआर द्वारा जारी प्रेस के अनुसार, यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों को अधिक सुरक्षित और आरामदायक यात्रा प्रदान करने के लिए, दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे ने मौजूदा पारंपरिक के बजाय आधुनिक एलएचबी (लिंक हॉफमैन बस) कोचों के साथ 12837/12838 हावड़ा-पुरी-हावड़ा एक्सप्रेस चलाने की योजना बनाई है। कोच। 12837/12838 हावड़ा-पुरी एक्सप्रेस की एलएचबी राकविल के साथ सेवा हावड़ा से 30.04.19 से और पुरी से 01.05.19 को शुरू होती है। (As per Press Released by SER With a view to provide more secured and comfortable journey to the travelling passengers, South Eastern Railway has planned to run 12837/12838 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Express with modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches instead of existing conventional coaches. The services of 12837/12838 Howrah-Puri Express with LHB rakewill start from Howrah with effect from 30.04.19 and from Puri on 01.05.19)
With the introduction of LHB rake, 12837/12838 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Express will have the following revised composition:-
AC First Class – one, AC 2-Tier- three, AC 3-tier– four, Sleeper Class- eleven and General Second Class-two.
