train derailed at the Lighthouse MRTS station, no injured
A suburban train derailed at the Lighthouse MRTS station at around 12:30 PM on Monday. No passengers were injured as the derailment occurred when the train was slowly approaching the station.
Officials said that a wheel in the second coach from the rear, a ladies coach, was the cause for the derailment. Around 1000 passengers travelling on the train had a close shave.
