RPF of Eastern Railway during January 2015
Railway Property worth Rs 40,750/- and arrested 24 persons in different cases including theft of Railway electricity. In addition to this, 2511 persons were prosecuted under various sections of Railways Act including 25 touts and 1798 person for travelling in ladies compartment.
In cleanliness drives, altogether 49 persons were apprehended from different Railway Stations of Eastern Railway for spitting & littering in Railway premises.
24 children were rescued from Railway premises on different occasions and they were handed over to their Parent/Police/NGOs.
