GRP Secunderabad found 15.3 tolas of gold from Criminals
The Crime Prevention & Detection Squad of Railway Protection Force, Secunderabad under the supervision of Sri V.V. Subba Reddy, Assistant Sub-Inspecter, Railway Protection Force, Secunderabad Post apprehended two persons viz., Pittala Mallesh, 70 yrs, Rasoolpura, Begumpet, Hyderabad and P. Rajender, 21 yrs, (no residence) on platform No. 8 of Secunderabad Railway station on 20th March, 2015, while they were moving suspiciously with a lady’s hand bag containing gold ornaments.
The two accused were taken to Govt. Railway Police station, Secunderabad for further investigation. After thorough interrogation Government Railway Police, Secunderabad recovered 15.3 tolas of gold ornaments valued Rs.3,75,000/- (approx) from them. Further, it was found that these stolen ornaments were connected to the following complaints registered for theft of their property at railway premises;-
1. Complainant’s name- Smt R. Bhanu Kumari, Shaikpet, Tolichowki, HYB, property lost: Gold bangles-04, Gold chain-03 kasulu, etc., all worth Rs. 78,000/-. (Cr. No.189/14 Under section 379 dated 25.04.14).
2. Complainant’s name: Sri Govindu Rajesh, Naidupet, Guntur, property lost: Gold chain with lakshmi devi locket-24 gm, Silver key chains-200 gm. All worth Rs. 30,500/- (Cr.No. 08/15 Under section 379 dated 08.01.15).
3. Complainant’s name: Sri. Guthula Satyaprasad, Shanker nagar, Ashok nagar, RC puram of Medak dist, property lost: 1). Gold chain-12 gm,2) gold chain-6 gm, 3) gold chain -4 gm, 5)Nallapusala Danda-8 gm, 6) Ear studs-4gm, 7) two finger gold rings-4 gm, 8) small baby gold ring-1 gm. All worth Rs. 47,000/-.(Cr.No. 111/15 Under Section 379 dated 09.03.15)
4. Complainant’s name: Smt. Kothapally soujany, Ambedkarnagar, Old Alwal, RR dist,property lost: 1) one gold chain, 2) two pairs of ear rings, 3) one pair of Haram pogulu, 4) one papada chain, 5) one pair of maatees and train ticket, Total weighing 3 tolas. All worth Rs. 30,000/- (Cr.No. 124/15 Under section 379 dated 15.03.15)
The accused persons were arrested and produced before the Hon’ble II MM Railway Magistrate, Secunderabad and remanded to judicial custody.
