How to Check your Cancelled or Failed E-Ticket Refund Process/Status from IRCTC website?

Many times we cancelled Our Ticket OR We failed to book ticket OR any communication failure but payment deducted and that after we have no way except Wait for refund. Here You will get information that how you will check your cancelled ticket or debited money refund process status through your IRCTC Account.

1) Login Into your irctc.co.in Account

2) Click on My Transaction Option.

3) In My Transaction Option under Choose Refund Status of Cancelled Ticket.

4) On Cancelled Refund Page you will get all the details of Your Cancelled Tickets. Just Click on Transaction ID which you want to check.

If you found Any Issue Just Post your Issue in Comments, You will Get Best Solution.

    I cancelled my ticket and it shows that the amount has been refunded but i have not received the amount in my bank account. What should i do ?

    Dear sir,
    I had reserved four tickets online from http://www.irctc.co.in .
    Two from Mumbai CST(CSTM) to Howrah junction(HWH) (Transaction ID:100000932419142),
    (PNR NO – 8661862815), Train No./Name: 12869 / MUMBAI HOWRAH EX ,THIRD AC (3A),Quota-GENERAL(GN) .The price of the two tickets was INR 3910 .

    Two from Howrah junction(HWH) to Mumbai CST(CSTM) (Transaction ID:100000932277719),PNR No 6404564888,Train No./Name: 12810 / HWH MUMBAI MAIL,THIRD AC (3A),Quota-GENERAL (GN).The price of the two tickets was INR 3910.

    I had cancelled all the four tickets.
    PNR No 8661862815 – Cancelled on 04-Oct-2017 (Cancellation ID:100000188545681)
    PNR No 6404564888 – Cancelled on 02-Oct-2017 (Cancellation ID:100000187871625)
    Total amount to be refunded- INR 7560 .

    But till date I have not received the refund amount in my account .

      IRCTC Refunds Take 7 Working Days, Sometime 2-3 More Business days depend on Bank to Reflect under Banking Transaction.

      For Make Sure check the Transaction Status Frequently.

    Till time tak refund not received
    PNR 8763681790 ticket cancelled, Amt 260 will be refunded in your a/c with in 3-4 days. Please check your account/instrument from which this tkt was booked.

    PNR 6605829279 was allot to me to travel from Raipur-Jn. to Muniguda by Train no 58529 on 07/10/2017.by E- ticket, the train was cancelled on that day.Amount of ticket is not refunded me till date.can i know the reason for delay.

    Hello Sir,

    i did cancelled my tickets on 03-10-2017, and it;s showing Status refunded on 05-10-2017, but money is not remitted in my bank account till now.

    PNR is: 8763662275 and 2337098508

    I have booked the 2A train ticket in Safari express on 06-Oct-2017. IRCTC detected the amount of Rs. 2403. Then I have cancelled my ticket because of Waiting List. I got a mail from IRCTC like “You will receive the refund amount Rs. 2340 soon”. But still now, the amount is not credited to my account. But my IRCTC account refund transaction screen displayed the status as “REFUNDED”. What it means ? Please refund it.

      it Means Refunded from IRCTC, Maybe it will Get 2-3 More working Days depend on Bank to Reflect under your Banking Transactions.

    Refund not credited
    I have booked a ticket and paid using my debit card, the payment gateway was patmag. Then I cancelled the ticket and its showing refunded but I have not got the money till now. Please have a look below for further info.

    RefundID : 100000187221647
    Refunded Date : 03-OCT-2017

    Whenever I check my Refund status, it shows REFUNDED TO BANK, but it shows bank name as PAYTMAG.

      While Payment on IRCTC you choose Paytm as Payment Gateway So this happen. No need to worried you will get Refund in your Bank Account. After Paytm Receive they verified and sent to accordingly.

        I am also facing same issues…… there are showing REFUNDED and showing bank name PAYTMAG on 6 oct…..but till now I did not get any refund… please explain when is it refund??

      While Using Bank you Choose ITZ bank as Payment Gateway, So this happen same like with Paytm and banks.

      Anyway Wait some more working Days as ITZ Verify and Refund in to Relevant/your SBI Account.

    I have cancelled my ticket on 1st oct 2017 with PNR no 4649120700, It is already 12 days, still the refund is not reflecting on my bank account, I have mail irctc care email but it has been two days i have not received and reply back from them [IRCTC #6907078]. Can you pls suggest what should I do next.

      Wait for the Next Reply from IRCTC Care as After Receive Email Auto reply With Issue Number to the Customers and After Some days they reply with Proper details.

      Count only Business/Working Days, Also Some time depend on Bank taking 2-3 More working Days to Reflect under transaction.

      Check the Transaction status and make sure.

    I have cancelled one ticket on 9th Oct.PNR Number: 2714863523. When i check refund status, initially it showed “Sent to Bank”. But when i check now, its showing “NOT REFUNDED”. Please help me to know why it shows “NOT REFUNDED”

      After Cancellation the Total Refund Details sent by IRCTC through Message/Email. Please Check the Amount. If there is Any refund Check back Status Again on Monday.

      IRCTC Refund Normally Take 7 Working days, Anyway Check the transaction status. As you Cancelled on 2nd Oct You Will Get Refund till 17th Oct.

      You done Payment Via Paytm or Paytm Payment Gateway, Please Confirm.

      Payment Always credit with the same Account.

    While i’m booking todya i.e.13.10.17 through e-ticket on irctc mobile app My A/c is debited an Amt.914/- but not yet i am not received confirmation massage my Ticket ID :IRCTC#6926247 .Kindly co-operate in this regards & revert me

    I cancelled the train ticket from chennai to cbe and cbe to chennai on 5th october. But till this date money not refunded.PNR NO. 1 ..4336655583.

      As IRCTC Refunds Take 7 Business/Working Day wait Some more working Days. In this Month due festivals not much working Days. Hope you Will Get refund Till Next Week.

      Keep Check the Canceled Ticket transaction status through your IRCTC Account.

    I have booked 2 tickets on 15 oct 17 the payment has been made and the amount has been deducted but there is a failure in ticket booking and the status is showing failed. No message or email has been send for the refund. What to do sir?

      Check the status under Failed Transaction, If Transaction Failed Don’t Worry you Will Get 100% Refund within 7 Working Days.

      Please Mention Cancellation Dates. As Many Holidays in this month, Normally Refunds take 7 Working Days.

      Wait So more working Days as Sometimes refunds take time to reflect under banking Transaction.

    Sir,/ Madam,
    I have booked tickets with irctc.com. But the transaction was cancelled, amount was debited from by bank account. In the refund history it will showing the amount was refunded to PAYTMBank. it was not my bank brank branch, i have used the SBI Debit card banking. At anyway the amount was not added to my bank account. please help me.

      While Make Payment on IRCTC Payment Page you choose Paytm as Payment Gateway that why Refund Status Showing Like this.

      Once Paytm Got Refund they Identify and Credit with the same Account (SBI) don’t Worry.
