How to Check your Cancelled or Failed E-Ticket Refund Process/Status from IRCTC website?

Many times we cancelled Our Ticket OR We failed to book ticket OR any communication failure but payment deducted and that after we have no way except Wait for refund. Here You will get information that how you will check your cancelled ticket or debited money refund process status through your IRCTC Account.

1) Login Into your irctc.co.in Account

2) Click on My Transaction Option.

3) In My Transaction Option under Choose Refund Status of Cancelled Ticket.

4) On Cancelled Refund Page you will get all the details of Your Cancelled Tickets. Just Click on Transaction ID which you want to check.

    Dear Authorities,

    I have booked a rail ticket online at irctc.co.in on Dec 7, following are the details:-

    Transaction ID – 100001078020656
    KCG to YPR
    Date of Journey – 02 Jan 18
    Class – Sleeper
    Passengers – V Praveen Reddy,
    Train – 16570/KCG YPR EXP
    Total Fare – Rs 342.12

    There has been a debit of Rs 342.12 from my Paytm Wallet, however the ticket has not been booked. I have checked in ‘Refund status of Failed Transaction’ in my account & it says “Payment Failed”. However, I have checked from Bank & the amount has been debited from my account.

    Please refund the amount as money has already been deducted from my account.

    Please revert back at the earliest.

      As You Checked Status available under Failed Transaction, Check the status after 7 Working Days you will Get 100% Debited Amount.

    I cancelled Ticket on 23 Nov , and Today’s Date is 12 Dec.
    My Refund status is Refunded , but Money is not transferred into my account

    Now How many Days do I need to wait More..?

      As Refund Status Shown Refunded from IRCTC, Bank Also Take some time to Reflect Credit under Transactions.

    REFUND STATUS IS TRANSFERRED BUT AMOUNT NOT COME IN TO MY ACCOUNT.

      No need to do anything, Refunds Process are fully Automatic.

      Wait some more working Days as many Time Bank also take some days to reflect credit under Transactions.

    I have got payment failure 29-11-2017 when I booked train tickticket through irctc website and the amount has been debited from kotak mahindra bank account.
    I kindly requesting you to refund the amount as soon as possible.

      As pr Rules Refunds Take 7 Working days, As per User Experience Bank Side also take Some working days to reflect amount under Transaction.

    Sir , in my irctc account it is showing that my amount is refunded but till now I have not got any amount in my bank.

      As per status Refunded from IRCTC and Now Depend on Bank to Reflect Transaction under Transaction. Bank also can’t do anything as it’s fully auto Process.

    I tried booking a ticket on 29 November from DGR – GKP ,ticket hasn’t been booked but transaction charges were deducted from my account. TRANSACTION ID -100001067977881….the transaction is still showing payment requested .Till when can I expect to get the refund ?

      Check the Failed Transaction Refund Status Frequently.

      Hope You will Get Refund Till 20th Dec, as Practically user experienced Bank Side take also 5+ Working Days to reflect Transaction Credits.

    I have booked an e-ticket on 24th nov 2017 from BRC -HWH .Ticket not booked but fare charges has been deducted from my account. Transaction id – 470000000222563. Already 7 days passed but still now didn’t get refund money.

    i tried booking a ticket on 11 th november 2017,but something went wrong and transaction failed even though money got transfered,it should be refunded,the status says its refunded but didnt recieve any money in my sbi account…..help….below are details of transaction

    Its time to take serious action.
    Please refund me my money against transaction failure on irctc for ticket transaction from Nasik to Kinwat ticket dated on 18th Nov 2017.
    Time taken by you for refund money is more than 7 days so now it is serious.

      As Per IRCTC Rules Wait till 7 Working Days (Monday to Friday are Working Days except Holidays) after 7 Working Days Check the status.

      IRCTC Takes approx 7 Working from there site and there is also some working days from Bank.

      If Booked Ticket Not Fully/Partially CNF After Charting Done, then It’s Auto cancel. Also You Have Time to Cancel Till Chart Not Prepared.

      Check Again your Banking Transactions and then contact Any Nearest Railway Station OR Dial 139 Customer Care.
