RPF Personnel nab Luggage thief and Pickpocket at SC
RPF Personnel nab Pickpocket on Secunderabad Station:-
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel belonging to Crime Prevention and Detection Squad (CPDS) of Secunderabad Division, South Central Railway, nabbed a pickpocket on Platform no. 1 of the Secunderabad Station, while on rounds attending to Gowthami Express on 30thOctober, 2015, at around 21:00 hrs. The suspect was found trying to pick the pockets of passengers taking advantage of the heavy rush at the station. The suspect confessed to having come to the station with the objective of picking pockets of elderly passengers.

On 30.10.15 at about 18.15 hrs, the Crime Prevention and Detection Squad, while on rounds, noticed a suspect concealing his presence behind the Partition wall of General Waiting Hall of Secunderabad Railway station and was detained upon suspicion. He was identified as Jettapalli Jairaju, aged 26 years, a resident of Puttupadu, Kulkacharla (m), RR district. The suspect further revealed that he was an Army deserter and came to station to steal personal belongings of passengers and had already stolen one HP note mobile from a passenger sleeping in the Waiting hall. The suspect, along with the mobile phone worth approx Rs.20000/- recovered from him, was handed over to Government Railway Police, Secunderabad, for further action.
